Custom Ultra Class Galvatron. This project has taken many months of design even before it got to the prepping and painting stage. Designed in Solidworks for a Galvatron figure worthy of its character. The basic figure was based on an Ultra Class Silverbolt All main parts were replaced with 3D designed SLS rapid Prototyped parts only retaining the centre stork and any ratcheting parts. The figure was designed to incorporate the best parts of the character from The original animated movie, His Japanese anime look and The IDW comic design. The figures cannon is held on with magnets to detach and reattach between modes. The cannon barrel is also transparent to best display the LEDs, activated by a button on the top. The entire figure was assembled to fit, then disassembled, cleaned, and then primed using many thin layers of enamel primer. Every surface is prepped, and painted using satin finish enamel for a smooth, hardwearing finish, with a subtle dry brush to pick up the small details. Knees and abs painted in red gloss. Perfect to lead your Decepticons in with your Classics/Universe/Generations collection. Please note, this is a custom figure and although it has been prepped, sanded and painted with care and attention to detail, and can be transformed some paint chipping may occur if transformed excessively or handled without due care.
