In an effort to streamline our listings, all of that has been put into a group of v-log interviews on the AREA NIFTY-ONE facebook fanpage: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10150498136163062&set=vb.284119734624&type=2&theater Now, regarding C.T.C. PERCEPTOR, DESIGN DECISIONS – This figure began as a Supreme Class Cybertron Metroplex. We originally bought him off of Ebay without his accessories, and intended to simply use him for play and for parts. It wasn’t until the re-release of the 25th anniversary Perceptor, that we got the idea to create a much large tribute to the figure. We thought it would be neat to then take really large molds of existing transformers and from them create colossal-scale tributes to the original G-1 figures. We needed a name to describe both (1) the hugeness we planned to take these figures to, and (2) the idea that these were a sort of tribute to the hay day of the transformers- a celebration of the era. After trying a bunch of different name ideas, we got it. COMMEMORATIVE TITAN CLASS. Cybertron Metroplex was the perfect mold to capture the heroic Autobot Scientist. We wanted of course to pay close enough attention to Perceptor’s original colors, preserving his aqua and red color scheme. We also while creating a new figure, wanted to apply those colors to the same areas on the body as his G-1 ancestor. ( aqua mid section, thighs, and forearms.) Then, to play off the crusted, space-debris Cybertron battle theme, we coupled the G-1 color scheme with plenty of metal scrapes and scarring. There are places where we were tempted to add more chrome and silver, but it would have gotten too chrom-ey and too busy. We think we have the perfect balance of distributed color contrast. IMPORTANT FEATURES – Once again, at the time of purchase, Cyberton Metroplex did not come with any of his accessories. Should the winning bidder happen to have them and wish to send them in for matched paint, fantastic. However we do not have them. What we DID add as far as modifications are his newly replaced head and chestplate. The head is a transplant from a Supreme Class Cybertron Starscream, and the chestplate has been cannibalized from a Construction Devastator Scavenger. He does come with a custom gun created from a Mega Bloks Megatron cannon attatchment. TITAN CLASS PERCEPTOR stands 13.5 inches tall. PRODUCTION - This custom originally was designed to replicate a “dryer” flat look for all the paint. To do this, Cybertron Metroplex was taken completely apart screw by screw. Each piece was individually sprayed first with flat gray primer, followed by even sprays of Montana Gold Acrylic pro spray cans. Then throughout the rebuild, he was detailed with Testor’s pro enamel paints. This is a different approach on Ironhide based on one alternators version I saw online that turned into a hummer. This custom has a head from an RTS Grapple figure that has been modified to resemble Ironhides' look and its now on ball joint. The Front grill has been changed and doesnt affect transformation, and I have swapped the original fists and replaced them with articulated hands made possible by ARTELOKO Customs, the hands have articulated fingers and wrist swivel. I'm adding an extra weapon other than the one that came with the figure , it has a spring loaded missile that shoots. The Figure was painted and drybrushed using Krylon fusion spray paints and Testors enamels and acrylics to create the battle damage weathered metal look. The figure is fully transformable nothing has changed on his transformation. NOTE: when transforming the figure the head has to be turn backwards to fit the compartment. Highly collectible needs to be handle with extreme care. Please feel free to ask any additional question you may have before bidding. From my hot little hands to yours; ROTF Leader Class Optimus Prime with custom hands and rifle and Walmart Exclusive G1 Style Masterpiece Starscream. Both are in excellent condition. I have been fiddling with this Prime for the last year or so and managed to swap out his original hands with the movie 1 leader class Prime's. What you get are 2 semi-fully articulated hands, with wrist swivel, on an already awesome autobot. I made the rifle from my old deluxe Sazabi and the gun is from an X-men Bishop toy. Unfortunately I did have to sacrifice his swords so they are not included in this auction. You will get the original hands that came with the toy as well. Starscream is complete, minus the clear stand that goes along with the display base. He does have a few small nicks in the paint, but nothing too major. He also has a stress mark at the end of his left tail wing next to the booster. His back panel in plane mode also sticks up but that's more of a manufacturing defect. He comes with the Megatron gun clip and Dr. Archiville in the pilot seat. The only reason I'm saying goodbye to these 2 jewels in my collection is to make room for the Jetwing Optimus Prime that I'm ordering from TFsource.com(shameless plug). So in honor of Dark of the Moon being released on Blu Ray 3D today, I have listed a custom leader class version of Shockwave. He was put together using both movie and ROTF Megatrons, voyager ROTF the Fallen, and the DOTM voyager Shockwave along with a mix vary of parts from other figures. Shockwave is also painted with a mix of a purple and gun metal acrylic paints then coated with a seal that also gives a metal-like feeling. This Shockwave also is super possible in the arm cannon because of a ball-joint in both the gun and the arm itself as well as the arms and legs having good possibility. I have put a leader class Sentinel Prime and deluxe Topspin to get an idea of the size compared to other transformers (Not included with this auction).
